Sykam – The world's leading Amino Acid Analyzer (AAA) manufacturer

Sykam GmbH is a German company that, thanks to its deep expertise in the manufacturing and development of chromatography equipment and compliance with international standards such as ISO 9001 and 13485, has been one of the world's leading Amino Acid Analyzer (AAA) suppliers since 1980. In addition, Sykam's chromatography portfolio includes Ion Chromatography, Preparative Chromatography, and HPLC.
The automated amino acid analyzer is based on the principle of separating free amino acids via cation-exchange chromatography, followed by post-column derivatization with Ninhydrin and detection at 440 and 570nm; this is a mandatory method compliant with European Commission Directive 98/64/EC.

Sykam AAA can be used for a wide range of applications:
- Animal feed
- Food
- Organic amines
- Pharmaceutical quality control
- Clinical specimens
Sykam AAA offers numerous advantages:
- High resolution and fast analysis
- High sensitivity combined with a wide dynamic range
- Stable baseline with minimal noise – even for complex matrices because amino acids are separated from the sample matrix prior to derivatization
Control via Internet/LAN, RS232, and/or USB
Clarity chromatography software is a chromatography data acquisition and reporting software capable of controlling up to 4 chromatography systems from 1 PC in compliance with current GLP guidelines and FDA CFR Part 11 regulations.

Sykam AAA consists of 4 main parts
