Burkle is a specialist and developer/manufacturer of sampling tools, sampling systems and accessories for samplers, filling machines, pumps for aggressive and hazardous liquids such as acids, alkalis, and solvents, as well as a wide range of other laboratory equipment and apparatus. Burkle's customers operate primarily in the chemical, pharmaceutical, luxury food, and environmental industries.
Burkle GmbH was founded in 1950 by Otto Burkle in Stuttgart as a commercial agency for pharmaceutical products and plastic laboratory equipment. Following his death in 1972, his son Veit Bürkle took over the company, relocating its headquarters to Lörrach in 1981 to start new production there. The company relocated to Bad Bellingen, Germany in 2008. This site encompasses a production building, a warehouse, and a modern office building spanning 18.000 square meters. Today, Burkle offers Europe's most comprehensive product line of manual samplers and filling systems. The primary focus is safety when bottling aggressive liquids (acids, alkalis, solvents) and providing reliable information on quality, properties, or composition during sampling. Burkle products are manufactured exclusively in Germany. The highest possible quality and continuous innovation are Burkle's top priorities.
Since 1994, Burkle has been DIN / EN ISO 9001 certified by Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Zertifizierung von Managementsystemen (German Society for the Certification of Management Systems). Many Burkle products have been developed with a practice-oriented focus through cooperation with chemical and pharmaceutical companies based in the Basel region.
