Shimadzu Vietnam is a subsidiary of Shimadzu Corporation, which was founded in 1875 in Kyoto, Japan.
Established in 1997 in Hanoi as a joint-venture company for Medical Diagnostic Imaging Equipment under the name Shimadzu Vietnam Medical Hi-Tech Co., Ltd, the company has delivered high-quality medical equipment and after-sales service to provinces and cities across Vietnam.
In 2020, Shimadzu Vietnam Co., Ltd officially commenced operations as a 100% Shimadzu-owned company, taking over all business operations from Shimadzu Vietnam Medical Hi-Tech Co., Ltd.
Shimadzu has continuously contributed to public health and the global social environment for over 140 years, driven by the corporate philosophy "Contributing to Society through Science and Technology".
We will continue to focus on the research, development, and delivery of innovative Shimadzu products, dedicated after-sales services, and in-depth application solutions, partnering with and sustainably growing alongside Vietnamese society.

Shimadzu Vietnam Co., Ltd is a subsidiary of Shimadzu Corporation, established in 1875 in Kyoto, Japan. Renowned as a pioneer in medical X-ray systems in Japan, Shimadzu Corporation established its Vietnamese subsidiary in 1997 in Hanoi, followed by the opening of the Ho Chi Minh City Branch Office in 2000.
We have supplied approximately 1.900 high-quality medical diagnostic imaging systems in Vietnam. Beyond delivering superior products, we provide premium after-sales support across all provinces and cities in Vietnam, and will continue to introduce cutting-edge, breakthrough products and services.
